Scope of Service.

We are a personal assistant service, this means we provide dedicated “Zirtual Assistants” who take care a wide array of personal & business tasks for our clientele. Each task is capped at either 15, 30 or 60 minutes, depending on what plan you purchase. Technical tasks, projects or things that require domain experience fall out of our scope of services(though we can always find you a trusted partner through our Zirtual Plus network to take care of whatever you need). We also do not do client work or tasks for 3rd parties who are not the individual client.

Hours of Operation.

Our hours of operation are 9am-6pm PST Monday through Friday. Feel free to send your assistant a task anytime day or night but please understand that since our assistants are "real people" and not AI (*cough* Siri) they need to do things like sleep, eat, and have a little bit of fun too. What we can promise is that if you get a task in by noon PST, we’ll honor our same day policy and get it back to you by that evening. Also, for Executive clients, we have extended hours and priority turnaround times.

Types of Tasks.

Though our focus is research, reservations, and scheduling, we try our best to accommodate any request our client’s ask for as long as it falls within our time requirements and isn’t illegal, immoral or fattening. If your task falls outside of our area of expertise, say it’s database mining, or you need someone to take a package to the post office, we can help by tapping into one of our trusted partnerships of mobilized runners, repairmen, and other providers through our Zirtual Plus program.

Unlimited Requests.

Our service is "unlimited" but obviously, it is within reason. We like to keep it unlimited because most of our clientele, like you, are reasonable when delegating tasks. Maybe a client has three tasks they need done in one day, but then they don't have anything for the next few days. While other clients assign a task or two each day, every day and that's fine. Some clients assign 10 tasks at the beginning of the month and we space them out over the next two weeks. The gist is that we want to keep our service unlimited, always, but since your assistant is a real person(and not superwoman, that we know of) they can only handle so much... so treat them well.

We’re International!

People always ask us if we can handle clients in Canada, or Taiwan. We can! The only catch is that our assistants are still in sunny California, so if you are an international client you’ll have to understand that there will be a time difference. Since we are task-based and not set-hour based, it usually isn’t a problem though.

Turn Around Time.

If you get a task into your assistant before noon PST, we’ll have it back to you within that same day. Period. If for some reason we can’t, we’re sick, the task is too huge, or takes more information that we don’t have, your assistant will communicate this and get the request completed as soon as possible.

Credit Cards & Sensitive Data.

Each Zirtual Assistant signs an iron clad confidentiality agreement upon joining to protect their individual client’s information at all cost. Our assistants go through an intensive seven stage hiring process and background check before ever handling a client.  Privacy and security is our top most concern when dealing with your personal, financial and sensitive data.

If you choose to share sensitive data with your assistant, such as passwords and credit card numbers, we ask that you do so directly over the phone. Your ZA will then input your sensitive data into a secure portal hosted by LastPass which encrypts each item with bank-grade technology. Your ZA will access this secure data only when a request comes in that requires it, no sensitive information is ever stored locally — only cloud hosted through LastPass in an encrypted state.

Communication.

You can send tasks to your dedicated Zirtual Assistant through two means if you are a light client, and four if you are a premium client. For light clients we accept tasks via the Zirtual Dashboard and email. For Executive level clients, we accept tasks via the Zirtual Dashboard, email, SMS, and phone.

Holidays.

Our assistants observe all major holidays. In the event that you have an urgent task that falls on a holiday, we simply ask that you communicate that with your assistant in advance so they can plan accordingly. If an urgent issue arises, submit your task to [email protected] and your account manager will do their best to accommodate your needs.

Even though all of our assistants are based in the U.S., it doesn’t stop them from handling clients from all 7 continents - including Antarctica! Our flexible hours and 24-hour or less turn around time allows our ZA’s to handle client’s needs from Paris to Tokyo.
Multiple unlimited Plans for a flat rate.
At Zirtual we hate nickle-and-diming as much as you do. That’s why we offer flat rate, monthly plans that require no long-term commitment and offer unlimited requests. Simply choose what plan fits you best based on the amount of time per task and the additional features you’d like included.
